A spirit-forward equal-parts trio of gin, apricot brandy, and Calvados, shaken cold and served straight up. The juniper bite of the gin frames the apricot's sweet stone-fruit core while the apple brandy lends an orchard-dry, faintly spiced depth. First set down in Harry Craddock's 1930 Savoy Cocktail Book, it remains an IBA "Unforgettable" — deceptively simple, surprisingly layered.
