Last Word

IBA

Originating at the Detroit Athletic Club around the time of Prohibition, the Last Word disappeared for decades before being rediscovered and championed by Seattle bartender Murray Stenson in the early 2000s. Its genius lies in equal proportions of four very assertive ingredients — herbal Chartreuse, floral maraschino, botanical gin, and sharp lime — that somehow achieve a striking, harmonious balance.
