Chartreuse Swizzle

A modern tiki classic built around the jolt of green Chartreuse — its high-proof rush of forty-some botanicals tamed by pineapple, lime, and the clove-and-almond lilt of velvet falernum, then swizzled over crushed ice into a frosted, herbaceous cooler. Marcovaldo Dionysos devised it in 2003 at San Francisco's Starlight Room to win a Chartreuse competition; a mint bouquet and a dusting of nutmeg finish it.
