Rooted in Bermuda, where the Gosling family has produced dark rum since the 19th century, this drink takes its name from the ominous color of storm clouds gathering over the Atlantic. The assertive spice of ginger beer cuts through the molasses-rich rum, with lime juice adding just enough acidity to keep the combination from becoming heavy.
