A bittersweet Argentine long drink of fernet topped with chilled cola over ice, crowned by a velvety gold-tinted foam — the country's near-national pour. Born in Córdoba (variously traced to a milder 1950s take on fernet-and-soda or a 1970s bartender's riff), it surged through student bars after Argentina's return to democracy and became, in 2020, the first Argentine cocktail recognized by the IBA. Herbal, cola-sweet, and unmistakably dark.
