Porn Star Martini

A modern London icon, the Porn Star Martini layers vanilla vodka, passion fruit liqueur, and fresh passion fruit purée into a bright, tropical-sour drink, sweetened with vanilla and finished with a half passion fruit floated on top. A chilled shot of champagne is served alongside — sip and chase. Douglas Ankrah created it in 2002 at his Soho bar Townhouse, and it has since become one of Britain's best-selling cocktails.

Ingredients

  • 1.75 ozVodka(vanilla vodka)
  • 0.75 ozPassion Fruit Liqueur
  • 1.75 ozPassion Fruit Purée
  • 0.5 ozVanilla Syrup(or 2 barspoons vanilla sugar)
  • 1.75 ozChampagne(served on the side as a chilled shot)

Garnish: Passion Fruit Purée

    add

    Add the vanilla vodka, passion fruit liqueur, passion fruit purée, and vanilla syrup to a shaker with ice.

    Shake well until cold and well combined.

    strain

    Double strain into a large chilled coupe.

    garnish

    Float half a passion fruit on top and dust with vanilla sugar.

    Pour the champagne into a chilled shot glass and serve alongside the martini.
