A spirit-forward riff on the Manhattan from the same New York lineage as the Brooklyn and Red Hook, the Greenpoint sets a backbone of spicy rye against equal half-ounces of yellow Chartreuse and sweet vermouth, with aromatic and orange bitters tying it together. The Chartreuse lends honeyed, herbal, faintly piney notes that soften the whiskey's edge into something more aromatic and layered. Michael McIlroy created it at Milk & Honey in New York in the mid-2000s, naming it for the Brooklyn neighborhood he then called home.
