Harvey Wallbanger

A 1970s icon and a dressed-up Screwdriver: vodka and fresh orange juice over ice, finished with a golden float of Galliano whose vanilla-anise sweetness is the drink's whole signature. That herbal cap is what separates it from a plain Screwdriver. Its origin is contested — variously tied to mixologist Donato "Duke" Antone and to a McKesson Imports marketing push for Galliano, with a surfer-naming legend that historians dismiss as invented.
