A tiki cornerstone built on three rums — gold Demerara, dark Jamaican, and light white — laced together with lime, white grapefruit, and a thread of honey. Donn Beach created it in 1941 at Don the Beachcomber, naming it after the rum-and-water ration Vice Admiral Edward Vernon issued to the Royal Navy. Its signature flourish is a frozen snow cone of shaved ice pierced by a straw, slowing dilution while evoking a snow-capped peak. Potent enough that the house famously rationed it.
