Rum Runner

Invented at the Holiday Isle Tiki Bar in Islamorada when bartenders needed to use up excess liquor inventory, the Rum Runner blends dark and Jamaican rums with crème de banane, blackberry liqueur, lime, and grenadine into a tropical fruit bomb that was too good to remain a local secret.

  • 1 ozDark Rum
  • 1 ozAged Rum
  • 0.5 ozCrème de Banane
  • 0.5 ozCrème de Mûre
  • 0.5 ozGrenadine
  • 1 ozPineapple Juice
  • 0.5 ozLime Juice

Garnish: Orange Wheel

Preparation

    Combine both rums, crème de banane, crème de mûre, grenadine, pineapple juice, and lime juice in a shaker with ice.

    Shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds.
