Bay Breeze

A breezy highball of vodka lengthened with cranberry and pineapple juice, the Bay Breeze is simply a Cape Codder softened with a splash of pineapple — its tropical sweetness rounding off the cranberry's tartness. It belongs to the mid-century "Breeze" family of vodka-cranberry coolers popularized by Ocean Spray, which descend from the 1945 Red Devil (later the Cape Codder). Where the IBA-recognized Sea Breeze leans on grapefruit, the Bay Breeze swaps in pineapple for a rounder, fruitier profile. Built over ice and garnished with lime.
