Mudslide

A dessert in a glass: vodka braced by coffee liqueur, Irish cream, and a pour of heavy cream, shaken to a smooth mocha chill. Born at the Wreck Bar on Grand Cayman in the 1970s, when a bartender lacking cream for a White Russian reached for Baileys instead — and named the result for the island's muddy shorelines. Often blended with ice cream into a frozen version, but the shaken-and-strained build is its classic form.
