Shirley Temple

A pink, fizzy mocktail of ginger ale tinted and sweetened with a splash of grenadine, crowned with a maraschino cherry — the archetypal "kids' cocktail" that lets a child clink glasses with the adults. Born in 1930s Hollywood and named for the era's reigning child star, its exact origin is disputed: the Brown Derby and Chasen's both lay claim to it, and Temple herself, who said she found it cloying, credited the Brown Derby.
